Creating monthly goals + reflection

August, is that you? Wow, where has the time gone? I feel like I say that every month, but it's the truth. Time flies by, so make the most of it. A lot of amazing things happened in July, I couldn't be more grateful! I have a lot of really exciting things in store for Daydream Design Co. and I cannot wait to share them with you.

I wanted to talk about reflections, goals and how to plan your month moving forward.

There’s nothing like the fresh feeling of a new month. However, it can be really intimidating if you don’t have your goals planned out for your biz. Even if it’s just one small goal, I think it’s important to have them.

Part one:

Create your monthly goals with these simple steps:

  • Take a look at your yearly goals, are they aligned with your monthly goals?

  • Is there anything from last month that didn’t get done? If so, add to this month!

  • What are your top 3 goals that you want to achieve this month?

  • What are some small goals you can make to achieve the bigger ones?

Most importantly, allow yourself to breathe and dream a little bit, see where it takes you.

Part two:

I think reflection is so important. It can remind us of the most wonderful things even if there were negative things that happened. Reflect on the good and the bad. Think about what you can improve on in this new month to come.

What are your top 5 business reflections of July?

Here’s mine:

  • I started working with the AMAZING newest client of mine, Terra LaRock over at the Mindful Mamas Club - I swear the universe brought us together!

  • I started putting things in motion to launch my email course (coming soon) with the wonderful help of Lindy Hale, kick-ass copywriter.

  • I launched my newsletter: The Star-Gazette! I'm so excited to watch this evolve.

  • I learned SOO much, experimented with a ton of new Squarespace codes and brand strategy techniques which gave me a ton of inspiration.

  • I started daydreaming again for the first time in a long time and the future makes me so so excited.

I’d love to hear your answers! Leave a comment down below or tag me in a post on insta @daydreamdesign.co
